Do they *really* make life that much easier, at least for *some* use cases? I miss FileBox eXtender, a “favorite folders” Windows-Explorer add-on I used in 32-bit Windows XP, a lot more than I miss WinKey.

I think I played around with Launchy and AutoHotkey at some point and quickly concluded that the payoff wasn’t worth the configuration effort.
